For Sale at Auction: 1979 International Scout II in Tacoma, Washington for sale in Tacoma, WA
Vehicle Description This 1979 International Scout II comes with a Washington State permanent registration that does not require new tabs every year.
It has been in storage most of the time I've owned it, and is equipped with a diesel engine, which is a rare find! The rollbar is designed to be removed in two pieces, so the hard top can be unassembled, making this Scout a true convertible.
The paint and seats are believed to be original, with a small amount of rust on the bottom quarter panel on the passenger side, and the cowling under the window.
Included in this sale, will be an International Scout II Service Manual, a second set of mounted tires, the backseat, a New Cowling Repair Panel, and other miscellaneous parts, located in the bed.
Mechanical Note:
The Scout is equipped with a Spicer- type clutch, and makes noise if the clutch pedal is pushed in too far.
It takes some getting used to.
The fuel gauge does not work, but the tank is full.
