Special ordered and sold new on 12/23/1986 at Van Housen Motors in Sacramento, CA, to the first owner who was on the board of directors for Bank of America, after an 18-year ownership, the car was sold in June of 2005 to the 2nd owner, who was a private charter plane pilot.
The car was stored in his private hangar while not in use during his flights between Seattle and Anchorage.
