The car is finished in correct original tri-tone paint in (match body plate codes) Frost White, Ballerina Red and Boulevard Grey and the interior is finished in Gray and Ballerina red cloth and vinyl.
The cars were essentially a Nash with additions to the front and rear fenders, grill and back end trim.
It is powered by a Hi Performance Twin H Power inline 6-cylinder engine and a HydraMatic 4sp Automatic that Hudson sourced from General Motors.
Body styling of the '56 Hudson repeated that of 1955, the first design year for post-AMC merger Hudsons.
Styling and engineering were based on the Nash unit-body and platform.
A new V-shaped grille replaced the egg crate of 1955.
The car presented here is powered by the 327 cid V-8 shared with Nashes; however, this car has the famous 308ci 175 HP Championship six engine was still available in the Hornet and is the last year for that engine.
The engine is complete and it will turn over, but will not start.
A compression test shows compression is low across the board so the engine is probably due for an overhaul.
The body on this Hudson is very straight and solid.

The stainless exterior trim is good- pitting present on the chrome pieces and the bumpers.
The glass is all in good condition; there is a line in the windshield from the wipers.

The rear panhard rod needs straightening.

The car should have a brake job and new tires once it gets running.
Seats are good, the dash is complete, includes the heater, radio and clock, the lock however is missing from the glovebox.
The car will come complete with its, jack and wheel wrench in the trunk and one set of keys.
