Procurement Technician

Some of the major duties are:
Monitoring regulatory provisions. Interpreting contract provisions. Evaluating contract performance and barriers to performance. Monitoring contract status, compliance and administration. Monitor and evaluate audit results for accuracy and recommends action. Reconcile budget and accounting information. Verify invoices. Budget planning. Cost and expenditure evaluation. Audits, maintains and analyzes budget data. Recognize and evaluate anomalies in budget data. Analyze historical budget data for trends, patterns and projections. Quantitative analysis of program effectiveness. Research and investigate errors requiring reconciliation. Initiating process improvement and best practices. Performs all other duties as assigned. Experience:
You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-5) in the federal service that has given me the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of qualifying specialized experience includes:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
