Summary:
In this position you will provide assistance to account managers, account executives and producers in servicing client needs. Keep Account Managers informed of activities/changes/problems in client coverages and needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Act as client advocate at all times
Maintain positive relationship and excellent communication with client and co-workers
Maintain account information and document communication in agency management system
Complete Cert File set up form
Get authority from appropriate carrier/broker for issuance of certificates
Create certificate templates and update at renewal
Direct issuance of special endorsements required by certificate holders and obtain necessary approvals from insurance carriers
Review contracts for certificate issuance requirements. Advise the Account Manager of any items requested in the contract that the client is not insured for. Order any endorsements needed from carrier(s) and diary for receipt of endorsement
Send list of certificate holders to clients prior to renewal
Prepare auto ID cards
Photocopying
Filing
File set up
Prepare folders/binders for specifications, proposals or policies
Request MVR's
Issue flood policies
Enter activities for Account Managers & Assistant
Actively manage open activities
Follow-up for receipt of copies of filings
Maintain paper files
Process client's requests for changes in coverage, order endorsements from carriers and diary for receipt
Process endorsements including checking for accuracy, billing & transmittal
Process audits including checking for accuracy, billing & transmittal, diary for receipt of payment
Ensure payment of audit additional premiums within timelines required by carriers
Review Account Managers mail and take phone calls when Account Manager is unavailable, ask for assistance as necessary
Mentor, coach and train co-workers
Type cover letters (with Account Manager's input & review) and send out specs per Account Manager instructions
Order loss runs for renewals
Prepare rough draft of applications for Account Manager, as requested
Update loss information and prepare summary for renewal
Follow-up on status of renewal quotes
Prepare rough draft of proposals, as requested
Correspond with Boards, Bureaus and other regulatory bodies (i.e. NCCI, DMV, PUC, WCIRB, etc.)
Handle accounting e-mail inquiries
Complete Non-Admitted Carrier forms (D-1, SL-1, SL-2)
Prepare and maintain auto/property/equipment schedules
Call carriers for policy numbers
Issue binders, invoices, renewal documents as requested
Renew policies in agency management system
Obtain premium finance quotes and process finance agreement
Pre-Policy check-in (Dec Page, confirm all forms attached)
Other duties as assigned

Agent's Insurance license ( preferred)
Working knowledge of insurance industry standards, policies and procedures
1-5 years experience specific to job duties
Written and verbal communication skills
Excellent listening skills
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Planning, prioritization and organizational skills
Ability to manage work from several sources
Ability to meet deadlines
Attention to details
Attend mandatory internal training classes
Attend two classes per year towards the achievement of CIC, ARM, CPCU, RPLU, Dynamics of Selling or The WedgeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
