Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Department of Behavioral Health Services. Assignments are received in broad terms as objectives to be achieved with the expectation of autonomous implementation. Exercises full professional responsibility and individual accountability for professional recommendations, decisions and actions within existing policies and program objectives. Incumbent''s findings, conclusions and recommendations are accepted as being professionally sound by professional colleagues and organizational superiors work is evaluated in terms of overall effectiveness of professional services rendered.
Functions as professional Clinical Psychologist and as Clinical Neuropsychologist for Department of Behavioral Health Services, Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC). Helps manage resources for the neuropsychological assessment of all military (Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard) patients within the MAMC catchment region. Functions as a consultant or resouce person for other clinical psychologists and medical personnel (e.g., psychiatrists, neurologists, neurosurgeons). Assessments completed are used as authoritative guides in medical evaluaiton boards and determinations for fitness for duty.
Provides Clinical Psychology support to Department of Behavioral Health Services to include providing Intake evaluations, Psychological Evaluations for Sanity Boards and Security Clearances, evaluations for Military Schooling, evaluations for Administrative and Medical Separations, and clinical services. These services are for the complex mental health cases to include those referred from Social Work, ASAP, Behavioral Health Practitioners within the Department of Behavioral Health, and enlisted Behavioral Health Specialists. Assists in developing, implementing and managing the Neuropsychological Service for the neuropsychological assessment of behavioral effects of central nervous system (CNS) dysfunction. Provides clinical supervision to psychometrists providing psychometric services and neuropsychological assessments for patients with difficult and complex problems. Disseminates clinical conclusitons regarding the psychological and behavioral effects of CNS dysfunction to the other medical personnel for use in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provides services to the complex mental health cases and neuropsychological cases including professional consultation and liaison to other medical departments within MAMC regarding the identification and diagnosis of complex neurobehavioral cases. Serves as advisor and consultant to other healthcare providers. Incumbent must differentiate functional as opposed to organic impairments of CNS functioning in patients with a broad range of injury or disease. The professional opinion of the incumbent in many cases is pivotal for treatment planning and the patient''s psychological and physical well being. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of specialized professional lieterature and scientific findings.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
