10 hour day shifts, 0500-1530Position SummaryThe Central Service Technician works as a team member and is responsible for providing support to the total health care team at MultiCare Health System by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies and equipment.
This position is a team member requiring a cooperative manner, working under direct supervision.
Work situations are basically routine in nature yet require a service-oriented individual, organization of time and equipment, independent decision making in the execution of daily routine duties, and prioritization of multiple tasks.
Internal contacts occur on a daily basis and may include patient care providers and Materials Management staff.
External contacts are limited but may include patients, vendors, rental companies/agencies, other health care facilities, and physicians.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
