As a Sales-Oriented frame stylist at TACOMA EYE you'll play a key role helping our patients find eyeglass frames that enhance their personal style and help them see their very best.
We do need a motivated person experienced and confident with SALES.
We provide training and can offer an apprenticeship leading to a licensed dispensing optician (LDO) - with increased pay and great job satisfaction after you are licensed.

Responsibilities:
-WE CAN OFFER FT or PT to the right candidate.
-4 day work week.
Office is open on SATURDAYS.
Normal work week is T,W,F, Sat.
-Enjoy helping people so they look and feel great! - Greet and assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames that suit their preferences and prescription needs.
- Conduct personalized frame styling consultations based on doctor recommendation, lifestyles, fashion and vision requirements.
- We will train you so you can provide expert advice on frame selection, lens options, and coatings.
- Accurately measure and record facial features and eyeglass prescriptions.
- Maintain an organized eyeglass frame display.
- Collaborate with the optometrist and optical team to ensure patients receive the best solutions.
- Educate patients on proper eyeglass care and maintenance.
- Process eyeglass orders and coordinate with the lab for efficient delivery.
- Handle frame adjustments and minor repairs when necessary.
- Strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the optical department.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
-Other jobs as needed QUALIFICATIONS - Previous sales or customer service experience, preferably in the optical or fashion industry.
- On time, sees jobs through to completion.
-Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong passion for fashion and a keen eye for style.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work SATURDAYS - Basic knowledge of eyeglass prescriptions and lens options (training provided).
- Reliable transportation - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and products.
We can offer training, we offer an apprentice program through WA state leading to Licensure as an optician.
Candidates with satisfactory performance and an active LDO license will receive highest compensation offered.
