Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsible for repairing plant equipment used to manufacture windows, as well as performing scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment, assisting with projects as needed.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repair machinery and equipment to manufactures original standards and run to the designed intent.
Answer trouble calls to support the goals of the production and support departments and review and complete projects supporting plant requirements.
Ensure established safety and best-practice procedures are followed and maintained.

Responsibilities:
To be responsible for both mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance issues around the factory.
Undertake planned maintenance, breakdown repair and condition monitoring activities of plant and equipment.
Report to Operations staff on status of machine breakdowns.
To manage and deliver departmental based projects.
Attend and contribute to regular team meetings (some of which will occasionally be outside of your normal working hours) Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machine and resource efficiencies whilst considering the impact on other departments.
Promoting a continuous improvement culture within the department Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems Responsible for individual performance measures i.

QualificationsQualifications 2-3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment knowledge of Servo drives and motors, software-controlled CNC machinery, and PLC's.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
