The Executive Assistant to the Provost manages a wide range of complex, sensitive duties, manages the day-to-day affairs of the office in support of the work of the Provost and academic division, interacts with constituents across the campus community and faculty candidates, and handles external inquiries directed to the Provost's Office while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.

To be considered for this role, a candidate must:
Bachelor's degree or four years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage changing priorities and multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, high-volume, fast-paced office environment.
Demonstrated ability to draft error-free, audience-specific professional communications for a wide range of constituents; demonstrated exceptional proofreading skills, knowledge of grammar, and standards of professional correspondence.
Respectfully work, communicate, and provide leadership within a diverse campus community.

The pay range for this position is $27.
00 to $29.
80 per hour.
Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
