The Neiders Company, founded in 1989, is a fully integrated real estate investment firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
We currently own and operate over 85 apartment communities in the Pacific Northwest and Southwestern United States with other markets under consideration.
We are currently seeking a reliable, talented, and enthusiastic Security on a temporary basis (90 to 120 days) to be a part of our exciting team of community champion! The Security is responsible in maintaining the exterior and designated interior areas of the property while ensuring the safety of the residents, personnel, and property, providing excellent customer service and assist in emergency response activities as needed in accordance with company policy and all safety protocols and supports the overall objectives of the community.

Essential Functions:
Include but are not limited to- Promotes the sense of safety and security with demonstrating the highest level of responsiveness and actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
Projects an approachable and professional image in appearance, manner, and demeanor.
Acknowledges and greets guests with utmost courtesy and urgency to assist.
Reports any unusual and suspicious activities, incidents, and follow through the security checklist.
Be proactive and follow up with residents to reassure that they are safety concerns are being addressed.
Provide access control services and remain vigilant of visitors/non-residents and their purpose for being on property.
Performs trash-out duties at vacated units daily.
Removes all abandoned furniture, trash, boxes.
Assist the Property Manager with other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
Include but are not limited to- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor, serving as an ambassador for the company, and encouraging other employees to do the same.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form in a fast-paced environment, taking directions, reliable and self-motivated.
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
(8 hours or more).
Lifting requirements (75 lbs.
or less) Requires strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be detail-oriented while maintaining thorough follow-through.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be available to work night shift and weekends.
