__________________________________________________________________________________________________ Stella-Jones is seeking to add a qualified Maintenance Lead to our Tacoma, WA operations.
This position directs and coordinates activities of vendors and workers engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment; and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of industrial plant or other establishment.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 5:
30a-4p.
Responsibilities:
Manages maintenance work requests, determines priority and assigns appropriate resource.
Ensures team members comply with all safety, environmental and manufacturing practices Communicates to production and quality assurance equipment break downs and estimated time need to complete repairs.
Confers with venders, management and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measure to improve operation and conditions of machine and equipment.
Documents and reports maintenance work performed and advises of future requirements in a timely manner.
Inspects, services, repairs and constructs plant processing equipment, including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and pressure vessel work throughout the plant.
Perform repairs on electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical problems Performs the preventative maintenance program established by the Company.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices Lubricates and cleans parts, equipment and machinery.
Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
Participates and contributes to company safety program.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Flexibility - Productivity of the facility is essential so services need to be scheduled to minimize downtime.
This is a 24/7/365 facility, overtime and weekend work as needed Education - One-year certificate from college or technical school One-year related work experience Demonstrated leadership abilities with peers Experience in hydraulics, electrical, pumps, valves, welding Excellent trouble shooting skills Basic mechanical knowledge in wood industry preferred Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings Strong communication skills Employee

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
